Bro. John Joseph

Brother John Joseph, hailing from Tuticorin, grew up in a family with three elder sisters and one younger sister. He embraced the Lord at the age of 13 and received the anointing of the Holy Spirit at 14. Shortly thereafter, he began preaching at house meetings. Upon finishing his secondary school education, he joined POWER OF JESUS MINISTRIES as an assistant to Brother Sundar John, where he utilized his musical skills by playing the guitar and keys for a period of seven years.

Education:

John Joseph studied his Lab Technician Course. He later went on to successfully complete his Ph.D. specializing in HYPER GRACE in 2013, followed by an M. TH in Christian Counselling in 2014. Currently, he is actively pursuing his second Ph.D. at Day Spring University in the USA, exploring the topic of Islam in the context of the Bible.

God’s Calling:                               

In September 1996, he distinctly heard the Lord’s call to establish a full-time ministry, which gave rise to “VICTORIOUS MINISTRIES” in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The ministry has been consistently blessed by the signs and God’s word.
He actively conducts Youth Ministries every month, focusing on the younger generation who are envisioned to become the future pillars in the body of Christ. Responding to invitations, he delivers sermons in conventions and imparts teachings in various churches, irrespective of denominational backgrounds. Possessing a wealth of current information, he is well-prepared to educate and train believers and leaders on the worldviews of major religions and to provide a Christian perspective for preaching the Good News.
Since 1996, he has dedicated his efforts to concentrate on CHRISTIAN APOLOGETICS, particularly addressing questions related to Islam. Additionally, he hosted an exclusive television program called “Christavam Oru Iniya Anubavam, answering Islam in the light of the Bible, every Monday evening at 10:30pm, which serves as an eye-opener for many, including Christian believers and leaders.

Monthly Magazine:

Since 1997, driven by divine inspiration, Evangelist John Joseph, initiated the publication of a Tamil magazine named “VETRIN SATHAM.” Starting from 2020, this magazine has expanded its reach by being printed in additional languages such as English, Kannada, and Hindi.

Church Plantation:

He serves as a visiting faculty in several Bible Schools and Colleges, and he has played a pivotal role in establishing churches both in India and Sri Lanka. With 30 churches already established across different regions of India, he is actively pursuing his vision of constructing over 100 churches in the country.

Daily Devotion:

He hosts a daily 5-minute devotional program called “Indraiya Muthu” on YouTube, which has played a pivotal role in the spiritual development of many individuals. Numerous people have experienced substantial benefits and enrichment through this program. At the conclusion of each episode, a memory verse from the Bible is shared, enabling many to memorize a new verse every day and fostering their spiritual growth in the Lord.

Early Morning Zoom Prayer:

Monday to Saturday, every morning, from 5:30am to 6:30 am, there is a Zoom prayer session dedicated to praying for the nation. This prayer started during the onset of Covid pandemic and it continues till today. Led by Evangelist John Joseph and Evangelist Michael Raj, the meeting includes a 15-minute worship session, followed by sanctification prayer, sharing of God’s word, and collective prayer for the nation. It is also live telecasted on the Victorious Ministries YouTube channel and Grace television. God has answered numerous prayers that we brought before Him during the early morning prayer.

Family:

He is married to Evangeline Prema John, and together they have two daughters. Sweetlyn Jasper John being their eldest, and Nesalyn Jenefar John is their second child.
